The Space Shuttle Atlantis is now docked with the Hubble telescope and after a few hour of preparation Astronauts John Grunsfeld and Drew Feustel will begin their space walks to upgrade the aging telescope.

The upgrade includes replacing Hubble’s 15 year-old telescope with one that sees the universe deeper and a broken computer data device.

Beware of the circulating message with links to FBStarter.com or FBAction.net. These links will redirect you to a fake Facebook login page were your account details can be “phished” and may compromise your Facebook account.

The good news is that the damage caused by the phishing site is minimal, quite content with spamming all of your friends with the same message and doesn’t contain a deadlier payload like a virus.

Never give out your password to anyone and verify that you are in Facebook.com before entering your credentials.

A glitch was encountered in Google’s search engine security causing Google to mark websites as a possible malware site.

The glitched marked almost all entries in Google’s search database as possible malware, leaving users confused about the safety of their familiar sites.

Everyone loves customizing their frequently used tools – and frequency-wise, nothing beats the ever reliable email client. But as far as customization goes, most clients fail to even provide the basics.

With this in mind, Google launched themes for Gmail, finally allowing people to change the appearance of the email application with some cool looking designs. Google will roll out themes “over the next couple of days” said Gmail team member Annie Chen.

Set to be released on November 17 at the SuperSpeed USB Developers Conference in San Jose, the USB 3.0 will boast about 10 times faster with 5 gigabit per second (Gbps) data transfer speed. Here’s a quick comparison of USB data transfer speeds of a 25 GB HD movie:

• USB 1.1: 9.3 hours
• USB 2.0: 13.9 minutes
• USB 3.0: 70 seconds

Devices will be equipped with the USB 3.0 and available to consumers in about 2009 or 2010 and will be backward compatible with USB 1.10 and USB 2.0.

Unfortunately for Windows XP and below users, the USB 3.0′s minimum operating system is set to start with Windows Vista’s specifications.
