The White House may announce that it would need $83.4 billion more for war and diplomatic spending.

The majority of the additional funds, about $75 billion, will go to the pentagon to help alleviate the conditions of ongoing war effort in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The rest of the funds would go to non-war spending like improving diplomatic relations with allies and may also be used as emergency funds for unexpected calamities.
