 What gives here? Why does she get “convicted” and have to register as a sex offender? BOTH are consenting adults. She should be fired and left alone. This pisses me off. She is getting more jail time than some convicted of child molestation. GEEZ…in almost any other employment position in this country, if someone of authority is having consentaul sex with someone of a lesser status (for example a manager and an hourly employee) , simply get s fired so long as the sex was consentual.
I agree guards should not be having sex with inmates but sometimes the punishment doesn’t fit the crime! GEESH!

I agree, but the integrity of the prison institution was at stake. Giving a lesser sentence or none at all would encourage more employee of prisons to commit the act.
