The United States formally rescinded the designation of the North Korea as a State Sponsor of Terrorism last October 11th. A sign that the 6 party talk to end North Korea’s Nuclearization is finally gaining momentum in the right direction.

North Korea previously withdrew from the talks when its demands for the removal from the terrorism list was ignored and resumed it nuclearization activities.

After the removal from the list North Korea is now resuming its denuclearization and allowed inspectors back to its facilities.

Not everyone is happy with the US announcement. Japan is still reeling from the unresolved abduction case of its citizens by the North Koreans and is angered by the US decision claiming that the abduction case might not be addressed.
